Position Summary:

Supports end users of HR (Human Resource) systems with issue resolution. Participates on project teams for making changes to systems.

 
Responsibilities:
  1. Responds to inquiries from employees, managers, and other stakeholders regarding profile changes, new hire entry, payroll status, leave administration, compensation, and HR policies and procedures.
  2. Performs data processing for benefits enrollment, status changes, compensation, and other form processing for the HR organization.
  3. Ensures accuracy in processing and responds within service level guidelines.
  4. Interacts with internal and external resources, including all HR departments to obtain information to correctly enter employee data.
  5. Participates in the resolution of issues with benefit, compensation, and payroll including refunds and retroactive adjustments.
  6. Implements changes to system configuration in order to enhance functionality.
  7. Participates in system upgrades, enhancements and ongoing operations by performing user acceptance testing.
  8. Maintains files and tables used by different HR Systems which affect user access and/or system functionality.
  9. Makes updates to system configuration based on changes in the organization.
  10. Interfaces with other departments and vendors to identify issues which may affect HR Systems.
  11. Performs audits to ensure appropriate system access and data integrity.
  12. Provides administrative support for HR organization, including maintaining data systems, coordinating on-boarding and termination activities, and mid-year changes.
  13. Elicits, analyzes, and validates the HR systems and data needs of stakeholders. Compiles findings and make recommendations.
  14. Performs maintenance, or act as a backup on PeopleSoft’s core setup tables, to include Action, Action Reason, Department, and the Department Security Tree.
  15. Establishes, vets, and performs PeopleSoft HR year-end processing tasks. Suggests and implements improvements to year-end processing tasks and timelines.
  16. Performs quality assurance testing for new or redesigned PeopleSoft reports and functionality. Documents findings and works with programmers and report writers to correct bugs.
  17. Participates in and/or leads special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree with 1 year of related Customer Service experience or equivalent in education and experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills required. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required. 
  • Prior PeopleSoft experience required. 
  • Experience with enterprise application data administration, setup, and testing preferred.
  • Must be able to function as a team member, and take initiative to prioritize work and meet deadlines. 
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of discretion and propriety at all times.
