Constructs and maintains systems for the continual monitoring of credentialing information required for the entire D-H Professional Staff.  Constructs and maintains key MSO intranet site information.
 
Responsibilities: A listing of the key responsibilities:
  1. Identifies need for data and makes changes and improvements to credentialing/enrollment processes.
  2. Working closely with the Director, the CMO and all D-H system Peer Review Coordinators, is responsible for the development, maintenance and reliability of tracking, trending and reporting highly confidential D-H system peer review information.
  3. Develops, maintains and improves the structure and process for extracting data in formats that enable the Credentials Committee and Boards of Trustees to make informed decisions regarding Professional Staff members.
  4. Responsible for systems documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions.
  5. Responsible for training MSO Staff in the use of the departmental systems and working with Staff on problem resolutions.
  6. Maintains MSO intranet site to provide information to support efficient, effective credentialing/privileging/appointment processes for the entire D-H system.
  7. Assists the Data Management in data analysis, structuring and reporting data in a reportable format to Senior Leadership, Clinical Departments and Divisions across the D-H System.
  8. Assists in deploying new modules and systems as needed to improve efficiencies in all Medical Staff Office functions.
  9. Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors’ degree in business or equivalent in experience.
  • 1 year of experience managing database required, 2 years preferred.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare and credentialing industry, including medical legal issues and laws, regulatory agencies and other national standards.
  • Experience with writing audit reports and taking meetings minutes.
  • User experience with healthcare demographic databases and date retrieval tools preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills required.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to independently solve problems.
  • Strong proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet software, systems management and data entry preferred.
