This position requires the candidate to possess the following:

-Has strong customer service/patient support skills used to supports providers and staff in addressing patient questions/concerns

-Is flexible to the needs of the department and can perform secretarial duties in our clinic setting as well as in our call center environment

-Effectively analyzes relevant information and decisive in handling problems

-Has the ability to use effective written and verbal communication to all members of the department

-Implements and monitors DH policies and procedures

-Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in all secretary duties

-Is able to work in a team oriented environment

 


Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent with 1 year experience in provider office.
  • Knowledge of insurance benefit programs and medical terminology.
  • Ability to effectively interact with providers, staff, patients and insurance plan representatives a must.
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Must have prior computer experience, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.
